Beewatch

People are running to get their hands on the new Dolcita hops!  Dolcita brings a tropical blast of peach and coconut that seems to put the rest of the world in slow motion.  Beewatch hazy pale pairs Dolcita and Waimea hops in a light, soft beer that’s perfect for a sandy beach if you can find one, or a sunny beer garden if you can’t.  It’s only available for a short time, so don’t let this one out of your sight! 

This beer comes from two ideas coming together.  We’ve been wanting to brew a low ABV hazy pale for a while now.  A soft, tropical beer that you can sip in the sun without the ABV slowing you down.  But the concept had been on the backburner while we prioritized other new beers. 

Then last fall (’25) we got a taste of Dolcita hops, a brand new variety from HBC that had just gotten its name.  The hops lead with a powerful peach aroma, then fade into more tropical notes with a touch of coconut.  We thought this would be the perfect hop for this beer (and the perfect beer for the hop), so we prioritized getting it to the front of the line for spring.
