You’re in a ‘72 baby blue Caddy gliding down Lakeside Avenue near Madrona. The top is dropped. Sunglasses on. The subwoofer is woofing. Your foot is tapping to a rhythm that is up tempo, yet thoughtful. Like a seaplane coming in to land. The melody has it all, hot enough to rock an old garage warm in the dead of winter but cool enough to keep the most respectable Seattle indie head happy. All of this is wrapped up into the energy of five guys rocking with their guitars, drums, and yes, keyboards blasting through the auxiliary channel of the radio.
