We’re tapping Grau Bräu on Friday 2/20!
Grau Bräu is a landbier, a traditional German country lager. It’s malt-forward, soft, with a gentle spice from the Altus hops. Still light and drinkable, just better suited for the winter months.
The name comes from the ashy mining bee (Andrena cineraria), known in German as graue sandbiene — “gray sand bee.” So Grau Bräu roughly translates to“gray brew,” perfect for this time of year!
If you brave the elements this Friday, you can get the first pour at the Watts taproom! Bring your friends for the full bierhall experience with beer and brats from Uli’s Sausages.
