OktoBEARfest is giving the burliest of beer lovers the chance to fine-tune their taste buds for the chilly months ahead. The adults-only tasting event transforms the Woodland Park Zoo into one enormous beer garden, with 50 Northwest breweries, cideries, and meaderies pouring everything from crisp ciders to hoppy IPAs. You can roam the kid-free grounds with drink in hand, stopping for animal encounters and keeper talks between samples. And since every ticket supports the zoo's animal care, education programs, and conservation efforts, you can feel a little better about an extra pour or two!
