Las Margaritas Lager

We partnered with the Las Margaritas family of restaurants to produce their house Mexican lager. This cheve brings together the iconic lager profile of their Monterrey, MX heritage with the Cascade hop profile of the PNW.

We start with a blank slate of American two-row pale malt, and add in flaked corn for a light body and subtle corn sweetness. We added a combination of Cascade and Tettnang hops to the whirlpool for a bit of the traditional noble hop character with a subtle citrus edge to brighten it up. We then gave it an extended lager fermentation to give it a smooth and clean finish.

Crisp and bright, it's the perfect beer to enjoy atop your favorite mountain or gathered around the table with family and friends. From El Cerro de la Silla to Mount Rainier ¡Salud!
