Book Release Party

  • Watts Brewing Company 15510 Redmond - Woodinville Rd NE Ste E110 Woodinville, WA, 98072 United States (map)

After 80+ years of adventures, Pat A. Peterson has released her first book, titled “Around the World in 80 Years”! You are invited to a book signing at the brewery on Wed 12/18, starting at 7:00. You can enjoy delicious dinner options provided by the Tandem food truck. Here’s the publishers’ summary:

“Around the World in 80 Years” presents captivating stories about people and adventures from a life well-traveled and lived. Falling off Long’s Peak after a blizzard. Dancing on Red Rock’s stage. Meeting Martin Luther King, Jr. Teaching in Haiti, Europe, and Asia. Surviving scuba in Fiji. Climbing Fuji. Trekking Machu Picchu and Patagonia. Hitchhiking 25,000 kilometers in France. Fishing the Yukon. Digging dinosaurs in Montana. Pat Peterson recounts these and other experiences to “…share the remarkable diversity of planet Earth and the people I have met whose stories along with my own are worth knowing.”

She has always been an adventurer. This chronology of her life and adventures spanning more than 80 years so far reads more like a movie combination of Ann Bancroft, Amelia Earhart, and a female Indiana Jones than a memoir.”

Tandem's food truck options will include hand-cut Alaskan cod fish and chips, signature house made crab cakes, Chef Bradley's famous clam chowder, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, salad, and more.

As Peterson would say, it's "Food, Drink, and Book for the Body & Soul." You can get your copy at the event or direct from the publisher here: http://bit.ly/4h7735I
