Join us on Sunday, May 3rd for our Cantina Party at Watts Brewing! We’ll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and May the Fourth Be With You with tacos, music, and fresh Melipona Mexican lager.

From 3PM-5PM, Poker Club brass band will be performing music from the Star Wars movies to celebrate May the Fourth as well as hits from the Tijuana Brass. We’ll also have the QT Tacos truck in the house bringing authentic Mexican street food perfect to pair with release of our Melipona Mexican Lager! Melipona is a refreshing Mexican lager named after Melipona beecheii, a stingless honeybee from southern Mexico.  The bees were raised for centuries by the Maya who called them “xunan kab” or “royal lady.” Our royal lady pours a bright straw gold with a bounty of corn on the palate and a delicate crown of lemon blossoms on the nose. It’s an elegant and easy drinking lager that connects the tradition of Mexican lager brewing with modern citrus-hopped lager.
