Piña Kölada IPA
So ... things aren't great. It's been a rough year for everyone. But despite all the doom and gloom, there's still some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. The sun still rises over the Cascades and sets over the Olympics, babies are still cute, and some of us have been lucky enough to fall in love. If you're reading this, that must mean you're still around and healthy enough to drink beer too, and that's something we're thankful for.
This beer is a bit of sunshine* in a glass for all of you who need a little light right now. Piña Kölada IPA packs a diacritical mass of hops in the whirlpool and dry hop, with an explosion of coconut flavor from Sabro hops front and center, while Sultana hops and our signature Kölsch yeast bring out a little pineapple to go with the tropical theme. But let's be honest, this is an IPA, not a cocktail. You won't get a coconut milk mustache drinking it, and no pineapples were harmed in the making of this beer. Put a tiny umbrella in it and picture yourself talking to some friendly German tourists on a beach somewhere and you'll be just fine.
We hope you enjoy this light-hearted IPA, and that it sheds a crepuscular ray on your quarantine bubble. We can't actually brew with love (it's not on the TTB's exhaustive list of approved ingredients), so hops will have to suffice.
Stay healthy my friends.
