Waggle Dance
Wet HoP IPA

Honeybees use a "waggle dance" to point out to other bees in the hive where they can find tasty flowers.  Well guess what? You’ve just found them! Waggle Dance Wet Hop IPA is a dance party in a glass, packed with fresh picked Amarillo hops.

We road tripped out to Virgil Gamache Farms near Toppenish—the ones responsible for breeding Amarillo in the first place—and packed the van full of hops straight from the bine. Back at the brewery, we already had a batch of IPA rolling so when the hops hit the brewery we were ready to throw them right into the whirlpool. Farm to fermenter in less than 8 hrs.

The recipe is a classic west-coast IPA: bold and hoppy. Look for a big apricot/peach aroma from the Amarillo hops with subtle citrus highlights. The base of pale malt combines with touches of biscuit keeps the body light, bright, and hoppy.
